Planning – Nature and purpose, types of plans, MBO, Strategic planning and decision making, SWOT analysis, global planning.
Organizing – Organization levels, structures, authority, power, delegation, conflict management.
Staffing and Leading – Concept of Human Resource Management, process of recruitment, selection, training and orientation, performance appraisal, human factors in managing, theories of motivation, leadership and communication in organizations.
Controlling – Process of controlling, types and techniques in controlling, controlling human factors, effective controls
